Custom Size Projects - for creating a banner

Hi,

I use MEP 15+, I see that you can create a custom size project for the video size. However no matter what I do I cannot get it to work (or it always goes back to another resolution), maybe it won't work with my settings?

I am trying to create a "animated" banner for a website that will be 900pixels x 200pixels. I want to put some pictures that scroll along and moving text and stuff (using MEP), I then want to render it, and from there re-render my new banner to a SWF file using something like Super.

Now whenever I try and change my project setting to the size of my banner it never make it what I want (after choosing custom for the video resolution/settings).

Can MEP make custom project video size like I want (900x200) so I can do my banner and render it? Or does MEP only give you the more "standard" video sizes?

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, it's easy enough - once you know how.

1. Load MEP15 and open Movie Settings (File > Settings > Movie or just press E)

2. Enter your required values:

3. After clicking OK, you'll get this message. Respond by clicking Adjust:

4. That's it. You should now see your preview monitor like this:

5. ...and you can go ahead with the creative stuff:
