Dear Sirs, I bought this software to do a very simple task that is to join several .MTS files generated by my sony camera in only one file of the same kind that is another .MTS file , that is all I want this software but I failed. How can I do that

Not sure whether you can create a final .MTS file but the actual joining of the originals is quite easy.

Open a new project at the frame size of your original files (usually 1440 x 1080 or 1920 x 1080).  Import the files to the timeline in the order you wish them to be seen.  Then Export the resulting MEP Project to whatever final format you want (I suspect you will need either an AVCHD format or possibly burn to blu-ray).

Hi

You can export as an m2ts file which is an mts file (the mts was for the old file naming convention where the extension can only have 3 characters, you can change this if you need to.

Select Export Movie, Video as mp4  in the dialog that opens select the AVCHD stream H264 1920*1080 PAL (or NTSC as required) . 

You can change the resolution if you need to.

Set the path and filename in the appropriate dialog boxes and export.
