Deleting a Decoration

Help! I added a "decoration" border with Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus, and then tried to remove it. Well, the "undo" won't do it, and if I highlight it to delete, the scene it is below also deletes! How can I delete this decoration? Thanks!

Decorations, multi picture in picture and collages typically 'group' all the elements being used to make it easier to move the whole lot if needed. You would need to 'un-group' before deleting a part, but note however that most of these effects also make changes to your video and image object(s) eg size, position, rotations, etc, which would remain.

Just checked on my old machine with MEP14+. Right click on your scene, not the border object, and pick 'Reset effects...' or [Alt+Shift+C].
