Did Magix 'MEP 2013 Plus' Provide the H264 Codec?

Hi Gang

Just a quick question: Do you guys know if MEP 2013 offered the H264 Codec, MP4 Export and the same Reverb-Echo interface that appeared in MEP 2015 and previously?

I believe you can always convert after export if need be. Have you tried h264encoder.com?

Hi Russ - Nice to hear from you. Yes I convert when necessary. Long story short I do a lot of editing - restoring or enhancing archival footage or WWII re-creations (an ongoing documentary). After trying several versions of MEP I gravitated to MEP 2016 (without the update service). Its stable and works out well except for the 'over-sized' Reverb/Echo interface. MEP 2013 would have solved that but the drawback again is the lack of H264 so I'll just stick with MEP 2016 for now. Thank You ... Folks here have been very helpful ...

MEP2013 definitely has the H.264 codec for import / export and it does have the old audio effects interface.

As mentioned previously - Please do not abbreviate the name of the version in you subject or post as this causes confusion and incorrect hits in the search function.
