Hi

Does your Sony BD player support AVCHD?

Try burning a Blu-ray format disc and see if this plays.

I burn AVCHD to DVD disc with MEP17+ and get them to play on my Sony BD player without any problems, my Sony TV also plays the AVCHD files correctly over my network.

Yes, my Sony plays AVCHD just fine. The problem is, it is supporting only the standard frame rates for NTSC. When I

created an AVCHD NTSC disc, it output only 25fps which is not supported in the US.

I finally gave up with the trial version of MEP17+ and downloaded MEP17 which worked as expected. I will never

know why the trial didn't work but I ended up purchasing MEP17. Since all of my imported files are from a Canon

camera @1920x1080 24P MOV format, I am also getting a Quicktime editor/trimmer to make it easier to edit with

MEP17. It would have been nice if a file trimmer were included but for the money I'm not complaining.
