I was wondering if it is possible to create my own drum kit using my own drum sounds with the Drum Engine instrument. Sorry if this is an obvious answer but I am new to the program and am still learning most of the basics.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Not as far as I know, the Drum Engine is MIDI not audio.
However you could use the Live Pads - keyboard shortcut K - to 'create' a drum kit for playing your drum sound loops - details are in the manual - you may need to download this from the link under Help.
