echoing on playback when using the mixer pan dials

Music Maker 2024 - When I use the Mixer (M) , If i add anything to either of the 2 dials at the top of each channel that track will then echo on and on through playback, even when after the track has stopped, and also present on outputted mp3 file. I've searched and and tried everything I can think. Yes, it set to Asio drivers, thru a Focusrite box - which has just had it's drivers updated. Any ideas anyone ?

Hi,

The two dials at the top of the mixer are for Sends - you can see this in the column at the very left of the mixer. Send sends the audio of that channel to the auxiliary FX strip - AUX 1 (left dial) and AUX2 (right dial) and uses the FX that are in that channel strip in the amount of the dial setting. If you open AUX 1, you'll see that Reverb is on by default. Thus you are getting reverb. So, either turn it off or move the dial to 0 (counter-clockwise).

Ah, ok, think you've just solved it for me !. I've been Google-ing what the 2 dials were, I assumed they were 'pan', I can't quite understand the whole 'send' think yet, but yes, the left had reverb on and the right had the Echo on !. Huge help , thanks John
