It could be that you do not have the correct codec for the mp4 files, or maybe the Movie Edit Pro 14 does not recognize that format.

 

Where did the mp4 you have come from?

So, you downloaded the video from YouTube, or you are uploading the video to YouTube?

I am trying to determine the source of the video material, to see if there might be a relationship for this, perhaps this video requires the audio to be imported separately, or perhaps the codec within the MEP 14 is not compatible with mp4.

If you export this video into another format, does the audio work then?
