Fade Effects

I just installed Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 and for some reason none of the fade effects will work. I've checked all the settings and nothing is disabled. All the other features work including the adding text, color effects but for some reason or another none of the fade effects-including the standard-will work in any of my projects. I've never had this problem with Magix Movie Edit 11 so can anybody shed any light on what I might be doing wrong or if there is a problem with my program.

Thanks
Brandon

Hi Brandon,

How exactly do the effects not work and how do you go about applying them? Maybe this is a technical issue or maybe just an usage-related one. If the fades seem to apply in the timeline or storyboard but don't show properly in the preview, maybe they cannot be rendered properly in the current graphics mode with the graphics card you're using. Try switching to a different video mode for the arranger in the program settings/display settings. It's worth a shot. If that doesn't help, maybe you can provide more details about the problem. I'm sure it's something that can be sorted out.

cheers

Hi, I have similiar problem. I use Vista SP2 nad everything was OK until I downloaded updates to MEP 15. When I use the fade for the first time, it works fine, but when I want to use it again in the same movie, the proper fade doesn't work, for some reason it goes on crossfade. I don't know what can cause the problem, but it annoys me when I can't use the same fade few times.
If anyone knows the solution, please let me know

thanks
