Fuji Stereo video files

Hello all of you including Magix team,

I can 'Import' Fuji REAL 3D W1 of W3 video files (extrension avi), and it looks that MEP17 recognises that it is a stereo file (as I see it in the Anaglyph view'; using icon top left of the monitor).

The only problem is that in the Effects -> Stereo3D -> Properties, the property of that track is set on 'Standard(2D)' while it should be 'Side-by-side (left image to the left) - full width'.

As this property is not properly set, one can't for instance set the 'Aligning'.

Would be great to have this behavor changed, or do I see things wrong?

Fuji still picetre files (MPO) are handled correctly (they get automatically the correct Property: 'Side-by-side (left image to the left) - full width'

Any help/workaround is welcome.

All the best,

Victor

Good info....

I will check this with what footage I have, see if that is a similar result, if so I will bring it to the attention of support.

Hello Victor!

Had the same problem a week ago.

To create 3D-Videos VDL expects 2 seperate(!) Videofiles. Simply get the latest update for your "myfinepix studio"-Software (included with the W3-Cam). There you can easily split your 3D-AVI-Files in 2 seperated streams.

Now you can drag this 2 Streams (one under each other - left movie on top) into the timeline. Select both streams and you can adjust the 3D-Effect as you can do with the Photos!

Enjoy! :-)

It is a godo wrokaroudn for sure! Thanks!

But I think that Magix MEP should be able to handle these stereo avi files correctly. So I hope that this big wil lbe removed soon. I htink if stereo camera becomes more and more off theself, I hope the first stereo camera will correctly work (the Aiptek video files are correctly handled by Magix...).

All the best,

Victor
