My old computer went toast, so moving my Sony Vegas over to the new computer:

Ive followed all the steps, downloaded the latest version of Vegas 12 from the MAGIX web page, using my working serial number, installed the 3.5 version of .NET. Found my serial number on the MAGIX site for generation an authorization code, but it rejects my computer ID. Tried both the device ID and the software ID from the computer. The MAGIX webpage rejected my computer ID, Much time spent, can't afford a new version of Vegas right now. What are the last steps for me to get my Vegas 12 working?
