Grouped items in timeline are changed when moved in Storyboard mode.

In Timeline mode in Movie Edit Pro Plus 17, I added a number of bitmap images and associated titles. I also included an opening multi-part title at the beginning of the movie. I grouped the multiple items that made up the opening title and created a group for each bitmap/title combination. Since they were added randomly, I went to Storyboard mode to move the bitmaps around to obtain the flow I wanted. When I returned to Timeline mode, I was surprised to see that the titles associated with the bitmaps did not always move with the bitmap. Some titles ended up on top of other titles in the title track. Curiously, when I moved a bitmap again on the timeline, it's associated title would move with it (showing it was still grouped) but was no longer at the same starting point. The titles DID move, just not to where the bitmap was now located. They seemed to move randomly. The  previously grouped opening titles were now spread out across the track.

Any thoughts on what might have happened?

Thanks!

Hi,

I couldn't reproduce this here in MEP17+.

I grouped each of 4 sets of objects on the timeline as shown here:

I checked that each was grouped.

In scene view they looked like this:

I then switched the first two groups in scene view, like this:

In the timeline it was then correct:

Are you positive you are grouping them carefully first?

P.S: A few months ago I pointed out various cosmetic flaws in the way this forum displays image thumbnails. In the above I've also noticed that aspect ratios are not correct, noticeable in the scene view thumbnails.

Edit: Those thumbnail displays are even worse than I said! The result after Send is quite different to how they looked before. Then, the aspect ratio was badly distorted (they were squashed inwards), but now they are only partially displayed.
