Cropping is done by marking scene, and go to Effects, Video effects, Movement effect, Section/Zoom

This is a response... I can't find anywhere to reply to a reply, so I hope you get it.

I typically shoot people talking on a green screen and then add a background. Sometimes the foreground video contains unwanted background off the edge of the green screen that I need to crop out.

I have always done this in the other video software I have been using.

I have spent hours trying to find out how to do it with Magix, but I can't find it in the manual, in the help section or on magix.info.

I have wasted so many hours trying to do this I am beginning to think that Magix cannot perform this basic function.

Am I correct? Or is cropping something that Magix just forgot to tell us about?

Please tell me what to do. If I cannot crop with this product, I can't use it for much of my work, because cropping is an essential feature that I need.

Perhaps I now understand your problems:  You want only cropping without zooming:

Go to Section and click the small triangle at Keep proportions and point on Free proportions instead.

That's all! Hope that's what you mean!
