Trying to drag the nodes of the effects curve on the object appears to only work for one of the two effects used in the Heartbeat movement. However the following works for me:

1.  Zoom in on the timeline to the section you want to adjust, select Effects, Movement, Size and Position.

2.  The keyframes of the selected object should appear - see 1 in the image.

3.  Click each keyframe as you require and you can then change the settings in the boxes (2).

This is time consuming but achieves greater accuracy.
