Open project no. 2, answer Don't close (the open movie), and that's all.

 

Additions:

"I ended up with the older project in magix and the new one gone." Are you shure? Did you click the Filmwheel under the Monitor (or Ctrl+F6) ? Probably there are 2 projects. They come on 2 different Timelines, like 2 documents.


If it is as I say, now go to the New project, choose Mouse mode for all tracks (Alt+2), and push the project to the right to make room for the Title you want to copy. Change to Old Project, mark the Title, and copy it (Ctrl+C). Go back to New project and glue it in with Ctrl+V. It will come where the cursor stands.

Asoeli, I tried that.  I wanted to copy a title from one project into another.  I had the new project loaded, and tried to append the older project, doing as you suggest.  I ended up with the older project in magix and the new one gone.  I tried several times, going both ways, and every time, only one project ended up on the timeline.

 

Is there something I'm (yohoyoho too) missing?
