I have the MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus, and the way I can load those synths is like this:

Go to the drop down menu called Effects, then choose synthesizer. This will open the synthesizer icons in the Media Pool, I then simply drag and drop the file into arrangement or double left click the icon.

Drag & Drop is best, as then you can load it to the area and track you want.
