Does VPX 16 still have NVENC issues with the latest Nvidia drivers? Surprised that they're not offering VPX 17 instead since VPX 18 has been released.

I have VPx1 and am wondering if I should get as an upgrade.. also do the voucher codes only cover soundpools at producer planet or can I get acid loops as well?

SP. wrote on 9/24/2026, 4:00 PM

@Jeff-Dobies Only VPX 17 was patched. To my knowledge VPX 16 will not use GPU acceleration with new Nvidia drivers. I believe you can switch to AV1 encoding if you have at least an RTX 40xx card.

SP. wrote on 9/24/2026, 4:05 PM

@robertNC I think it should work with ACID loops as well, as seen here: https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/articles/4465510203163-Humble-Software-Bundle-Your-Ticket-to-a-New-Creative-Universe-Producer-Planet-voucher-instructions

But you'll get 5 coupons over $10 each and can only use one per loop pack, so it's not possible to get something offered for $50 for free, but instead you save $10 on each purchase.

Ah ok thanks for that

@Jeff-Dobies

Hi,

In addition to @SP. comment

VPX 16 and earlier versions which support NVENC will work with RTX 20nn and 30nn GPU's providing you are still using the 581.xx series drivers.
