I'm not able to install Sound Forge - takes me in a loop

Sound Forge came along with my purchase of Vegas Post. I'd reached out to the team to obtain my serial # then removed all Sound Forge downloads previously installed. I then rebooted and attempted to reinstall. I'm getting a continuous message that I must remove an older version of Sound Forge before the install can be completed. I'm in a constant loop - please help.

Hello, Welcome

As you install and uninstall software on your computer, remnants of old applications can remain on your hard drive. Entries for the old programs may also remain in the registry.

Software such as Revo uninstaller can detect and remove fragments of deleted software, usually with just one system scan.
