I used background music from Movie Edit Pro 17 plus & now YouTube wants to partner

I used "Autumns Theme" that was included in Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus as the background music for a 3D video I made. Now YouTube wants to offer me a Advertising Partnership on the video. Do I need permission from Magix to do this? Have I been granted a license by owning the software? Can I get permission or a license? Does this cost money? Help!

Hi,

If you got purchased product. You will find License terms read that. Unless Royalty Free is written it is wise to send a message to Magix customer support and explain what you have asked here.

Withouth permission using music in commercial work could put you in legal troubles.

On youtube if a video got more view they offer partnership, if you remember when we upload video on youtube they have clearly mentioned the video should be yours or you got permission.

But Magix Product from version 17 got new License terms, we can use them in private use for commercial new License will be needed. I just saw you got Movie Edit Pro 17(if it is a newer version)

Hope this answer will help you.
