I have had no difficulty installing Movie Edit Pro  17 Plus on one computer with Vista as the OS.  When I attempt to install the software on a computer running XP I have difficulties.

The installation precedes to certain point and then the message "The cabinet file '_e342cxy.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.  This could indcate a network error,, an error in reading from the CD-Rom or a problem with this package."

I have copied the contents of the CD to my hard drive and attempt installation directly from the hard drive, but I got exactly the same result.

Can you suggest how to remedy this problem?
