Is it worth continuing to invest in Magix Software

I have various Magix products and usually upgrade every two iterations to keep up with things but with all the recent financial woes and tickets rarely being resolved, is it perhaps time to find new replacements for video and audio apps? Why should I upgrade from VPX15 to VPX16 for example? Will it be supported....

Windows 10 Pro 22H2 on Intel Core i7-12700K ASUS TUF Z690+ with 64GB Corsair3600-C18 DDR4 RAM and ZOTAX 2080ti GPU and 1TB Samsung 980 Pro System Drive and 2x2TB Samsung 980 Pro 2TB Data Drives and 1TB Evo970+ Data drive and 10Gbe NIC to 10Gbe Synology RAID-6. 2 x QHD monitors one connected to iGPU and one to NVIDIA GTX 2080ti. MAGIX Video Pro X14 UDP3 and VEGAS Pro 17 Final.

@DesertSweeper I guess the software will still work over the next couple of years. How often there will be updates needs to be seen, maybe once a year a new version and then a bugfix update in the middle of its lifetime. It was the same back when Magix still released software on CD.

On the other hand, it may become similar to Corel Videostudio, which is still available but hasn't been updated for a couple of years by now.

I don't think you need to rush to another software as long as you can work comfortably with VPX15.
