Magix 17 shuts down in burn mode

After creating a movie, Istart the burn process. I select burn-dvd-start burn process-ignore space without movie content. At this point I have always clicked on encode all and it burns the dvd. This week it gets about 3 to 5 minutes into the encoding process and shuts down. I get a magix has stopped working message-windows is searching for a solution. Then it restarts magix for a new project. It does the same thing when I use encode. When I use -use all or use it only burns about 2 minutes worth of video. Any solutions? Need help badly, new to movie making.

Others would say to update your drivers......I say to scream at Magix until they give you your money back. Check out my other posts regarding MEP17.

M-Sheffield: did you ever figure out how to correct the error? This seems similar to what is happening to me.

You will have to logon to download the patch (111.58mg patch). It fixed every problem I have found so far. Only works on the MEP17 Plus version though.
