MS re-names every new import to the name of the last saved project!

2 days ago I saved a project via Magix, to re-open & finish editing later.

I finished this project yesterday | So exported the finished video | And then also deleted the "project" file off my computer.

However when I import new video footage today = For some bizarre reason it's rename every new import to the same name as that previously deleted project! -_-

This is pretty annoying... As everytime I now export these videos after editing = I have to erase that old name, before entering the correct file name.

There is no logical reason why MS should be renaming my new video files to the name of a previously deleted project
\
But so does anyone know how to fix this bug with MS please??

@Apollo89x

I can safely say... no it doesn't. For any of my new projects, the program OFFERS a new name of the current date. I can then put in whatever name I like. It does not offer me the name of the old project.

It would help if you could do a screen capture to show us the exact steps you're taking.

Now, since you are also talking about EXPORTING, then yes, the target folder will be the last folder exported-to, unless you have set the target folder on the Settings>Folders tab. So, if you haven't set the export folder in the Folders tab, you need to do one export and then the new target folder will stick. This is not a bug; how is the program supposed to know where the new export is to go? Since you haven't told it, it will go to the last folder it used. That's logical.

As for

You'll need to explain in more detail; the program doesn't do any renaming of anything unless you tell it to.
