Music maker very slow since latest update

Silas-deJong wrote on 8/24/2025, 4:56 PM

Since I installed the last update (version 33.1.1.19) music maker 2025 premium edition has been terribly slow. I can't scroll with my mouse, because when I do it goes one by one. It's not just scrolling but also arranging, mixing and every other way you can use program. Does anybody else have this problem, and can it be fixed? Thank you.

@Silas-deJong

This unfortunately did nothing to the program, it's just as slow as it was before.

@Silas-deJong If you need multiple seconds after each click before the program responds, there is something running in the background that likely has access to the Windows clipboard and stays in conflict with Music Maker. Like already mentioned, this can be the Textcursor Indicator. But this can also be caused by other software, for example clipboard managers or screenreaders. It might help to simply start Music Maker as administrator by right clicking on the desktop shortcut, because other programs cannot access programs running with administrator privileges.

If this doesn't help, please try restarting your computer. Select the Restart option and not the Shut down option. Restarting will close all apps and this should also close the apps that start in conflict with Music Maker, so it should run fine again after that.
