My Movie Edit Pro 17 hangs up when I try to open it. The page indicates that the software is "Initializing Media." but it just hangs up. I can't get past that opening page.

Anyone else having this problem with MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 17? If I uninstall the program and reinstall it, will I loose the Project I am working on?

Uninstalling the program will not delete your "saved" projects. Good luck on MEP17...I have dumped it and returned to MEP16 after far too many errors.

If MEP is hanging while starting search for

videodeluxe.ini and trash (or rename) it.

Then try again.
