No Pause Button?

Every other editing program I have ever used has a play/pause button that can be controlled with the space bar but this one STOPS the movie and goes back to the beginning of the movie which is very annoying because im trying to stop it at a certain point and I cant because it goes back to the beginning. Is there a PAUSE button anywhere in this program?!?!?!

Yes, try using the Up and Down arrow instead ! Down arrow stops the movie at the actual cursor place.

Hi there,

There are different modes for the stop behavior of the space bar. You can change it in the program settings. Just press "P" on your keyboard to bring up the "Playback" settings and tick the checkbox that says "Spacebar stops at current playback position". That will give you the mode you're looking for.

What the other poster said will work perfectly fine as well.

Why did it get removed????, it seems daft, most transport systems have a pause key!
