I have Movie Edit Pro 17 HD. When editing my video the play back is jumping / skipping and makes it very difficult to preview before burning or exporting. I've already tried to adjust the program settings to slower reolutions etc, this did nothing.
Please help!

What is the power of your computer? To work in HD you must use a I3 to I7 plus at least a mimimum of 16 gig memory plus a good video card. This yield a smooth playback because computer can calculate decompression of image and effects. If you have difficulty to move on timeline and jump any place except the right place this is a good indication lack of power.

This is easy directly from your keyboard you can see the windows start button (bottom left) and the Pause key (top right) press both key and release this open a windows click the Tab General if this not open you can read info on your system.
Or you can reach using Start button, Control panel, System icon
