problem activating Sound Forge Audio Studio 9.0 on Windows 10 PC

I am trying to open Sound Forge on my computer and it says I have to register. When I try to register from the software message box, it repeatedly says (over several days) "error occurred while communicating with server". I last registered 11/14/2017 and activated it then. When I try to activate it now from Magix website, it doesn't accept the Machine ID I used in 2017. It doesn't accept my current device ID or product ID. I would like to continue to use this product. Please help!

Assuming you have a SF AS 9 serial number, go to the Magix Download Center, and download AS-9 from Magix. Some older versions go a SCS activation URL which no longer exists. Uninstall the version the version the is currently on your PC prior.

Otherwise contact the Magix Customer Service Sales Team which handles activation issues.
