Problem adding subtitles to my movie in Movie Edit Pro.

I have tried to use my Magix programme to put subtitles on to a video that the children at school have made.
I have changed its format to .wmv which is the first step but am having difficulty in that I can put a subtitle on the first frame and then when I try to put one on the next it takes the first one off.

There is a yellow band under the picture frames but - although I made it work for single photos I don't seem to know how to make it keep different subtitles attached to a movie frame.

Can anyone help?

Which Movie Edit Pro are you using?

For each title or text you will want to use a new title box in the Time-Line mode. Maybe this illustration will help.

You can move each text box around like a video or sound. Each text element needs to be in a individual text box so that means dragging in the text type you want from the titles tab.

If you need titles to be on the screen or viewable at the same time, they would need to be in separate tracks like so...

I hope this is of some help.

If you need something like karaoke use in Magix Title, Standard and Ticker 1 you can add text with space between sentence to control the timing in combinaison with duration. This is easy to do like somebody for a poem or voice translation.

If you need a SRT file a real subtitle effect that is another story.
