Problem Importing Videos into Movie Edit Pro 17

When I import movies into Edit Pro 17, many files import without audio. Approximately 50% of files import properly, the rest have no audio track. These may be avi or mpg files. Any ideas?

Yes:

You should explain which kind of different files

(and their formats) you try to import.

E.g. AVI is a container, not a specific format.

To get information on single video files you may use
