Program fonts

Greetings,

When MS 2025 arrived on the scene one of the things noticed and commented on by a few of the "more senior" members was the use of very small fonts in the various windows eg keyframe, effects and anything that had lists with sub-menus, Template for example - the title was very small font and but the opened icons used a slightly larger font which helps the old eyes.

And before anyone says that Windows accessibility features would help, no they don't. I already use some of them in other apps/programs and they work well; MS2025 stubbornly refuses to co-operate.

Does VDL 2026 have a larger icon? It's the only feature that will make me think of upgrading - or should that be updating.

ps This is the first topic I've created since the release of VDL 2026 and I'm wondering why I've had to put this in Movie Studio after all these months.

There is no change in the text size, however some icons can be enlarged see video below, this applies to all versions of MEP/MMS/VDL and VPX since, IIRC, 2018.

Thanks John but I don't have a problem with the icons, it's the label writing.

I have to squint and get really close these days to read the little fonts, either that or remember what each one says which again these days is a little dangerous. Using a magnifying glass helps but gets in the way but hey ho.

I've even bought an ultrawide monitor which has helped tremendously but even with that, some of the info labels are, to me, microscopically small. But as I say, hey ho.

It can't be impossible Andy.

I have two programs that allow text and graphics to be scaled from 25-200% of whatever you have Windows set to.

Does Magix still take on 'Feature Requests'?
