Re Formatting DVDdisc

I burnt a movie I made using Movie Edit Pro Plus 14  but after the burn finished the message "unable to burn due to internal error" appeared.

I uninstalled/reinstalled MEP14. Is there any way I can re format the disc.

The DVD+RW disc is now full and I tried to re format the disc via the Disc Information drop down box but the message unable to format disc appeared.

I don't fancy trying another burn with a blank disc as this may also waste another disc.

Hi

Try using Nero or one of the many freeware disc copying/formatting utilities available to format the disc.  It sounds like the disc is corrupted.

Thanks John.

After reinstalling I went for it and the erasing worked after insuring the erase box was checked, which it was originally, so the internal error message has disappeared and I have erased and burnt the disc successfully.
