I not sure if there is a way to directly 'record' video into a MEP14 project but you should certainly be able to record your performance using a video camera and then simply import that into MEP to combine it with your backing audio. Presumably you've a way to hear the backing track without re-recording it as you play?

If your camera records to tape the procedure is done through the 'record' button window though the process is actually a file transfer in real time over firewire etc. Perhaps there is a way of downloading while the camera is recording  -- using a standard camera as a web cam. I may try that when I've got some spare time!
