Recording
During the recording process, it suddenly stops and SOUND FORGE Audio Cleaning freezes. I mean, the program doesn't respond to commands. This happens every time I open the program and try to record.

@Oscarius Is your recording folder maybe synchronized to the Microsoft cloud via OneDrive? If OneDrive tries to upload the file during recording, it would explain why it suddenly stops working.

Besides that, your computer is massively underpowered for Windows 11. I believe that Microsoft recommends 32 GB of RAM for Windows 11. Your computer has just 8.

@Oscarius

Hi

Check in the Windows Settings, Privacy & Security, Microphone that the option, Let desktop apps access your microphone is turned on.

In the Audio Cleaning Lab record settings, ensure that the Realtek Audio Stereo Mixer is selected as the recording source.

You also may want to turn of Windows Sounds if you have them turned on.
