Separating Audio Tracks Video deluxe 2026 premium

When I load a video file into the timeline I am unable to separate the audio tracks. I am able to remove the audio from the video, but the audio tracks are stacked into one single track in the timeline. I upgraded from movie studio 17 Platinum to Video Deluxe 2026 Premium. What I want to do is be able to edit each audio track with out needing to switch between each track. I hope this was clear, thanks

Hi,

Once they're are on the timeline, use Ctrl+H to get them on separate tracks, or right-click on the video, Audio functions, Video/Audio on separate tracks.

For the future, go to File, Settings, Program Settings (Y), Video/Audio tab, Timeline and uncheck Video/Audio on one track.

Right-clicking is your friend almost everywhere.
