Serial number already used on previous OS

Hi, a had a problem with my PC OS - black creen at start-up and I needed to reinstal Windows but I had no chance to deactivate the product. So when I reinstaled the Video Pro X software and tried to activate it again but was not accepted and received the following message: "The serial number you entered has already been used. You may have already registered. Registering again is not necessary. If you have any questions, please contact out technical support team". I can sent you the serial number if needed in order to check it and reactivate, or is there any other solution to this situation.

Hi Marius.Welcome to the user to user forums.

Yes you can go to your Magix account and log in with your password. From there you can deactivate the product and carry on from there.

Do not post an numbers here, This is a public forum with no Magix staff present. To get in contact with Magix staff you need to send them an email.

Just a precision to what Ray mentioned, you deactivate the device in your products, not the product.
