SF Pro12 When using mono-stereo plugin it erases the wave forms

In SF Pro 12 all of a sudden the plugin for mono-stereo is erasing the wave form leaving nothing but silence. Any ideas why or how to fix?

It will save in .wav but not in .mp3

I do have in Options>Preferences>General Always Proxy Compressed formats checked, but still saving silence.

What else could it be?

@EOHAudioEditor You could try resetting the program settings via the File menu, if this problem occurs on every audio file. Otherwise there is a problem with the current audio files you try to edit.
