I've a couple of old Magix programs that I need to download again. Unfortunately, It seems not possible to activate the programs at all. PLease, advise.

I have closed the post you made about Audio Cleaning Lab since you have received the correct answer there and it is, essentially, a duplicate of this thread.
First, please tell us exactly which additional Magix program (and version) you are seeking to download. As pointed out in your other thread it is possible that it is no longer available.

Downloading seems not the problem. Activating does not work at all because the ComputerID is not accepted.

@Eric-Bremmer Offline activation with a Computer ID is only available for programs that have a P2 Serial number. These programs were released before 2014. Are you trying to activate such old programs?

All of them, because I want to check what I will use in the future (and possible with an upgrade. ComputerID: Settings, info, PC name
As I understand it, the Computer ID required for the off-line registration of older software is NOT something you can "find" for yourself. Rather, it is generated by the software itself as part of the off-line registration process, i.e., it is unique and different for each program you are trying to register and activate. It is most certainly NOT your PC Name!

@Eric-Bremmer Like @emmrecs said, the Computer ID can only be generated by old Magix software (which could be unlocked with a P2 serial number).
There is an extra offline activation option for this in the window where you need to enter the serial number and e-mail address to unlock the software.
All Magix software released with a P3 serial number cannot generate a Computer ID and requires online activation.
