Sonnox plugins error

I'm having a problem with the 2 Sonnox plugins I just purchased, they are only a problem in SF 18, they work fine in UA Luna and Cakewalk Sonar. The plugins are VST 3, 64-bit, but in SF 18 when I attempt to use one, I get error "An error occurred during an edit operation. An unexpected error has occurred" then when "details" is expanded it shows the plugin as a 32-bit plugin! Won't bring up GUI, just the error

I've contacted Sonnox, done everything they suggested which was basically uninstall, clear all settings and start over. same error repeatedly.

Any ideas what's going on here? I don't see anything online about Sonnox/Oxford plugins being a problem with Sound Forge

Check the basics, like the Sonnox plug-in files <.vst3> are in the VST 3 folder
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" and confirm the VST search path is correct. You might try refreshing the VST-3 plugs. "Options> Preferences> VST Effects" and 'restarting' the PC.
I do not have any Sonnox plugs to check if the behavior is the same.

Thank you. Yes all those basics checked and worked. Posting here is last resort
