I no longer see SF Cleaning Lab4 available as a product or any options to upgrade to which I believe is the current product "Sound Forge Studio" - can you please inform any current path for upgrade to latest ? Thanks in advance
There is no update to Sound Forge Cleaning Lab 4; it seems that Magix has decided to discontinue the product, sorry!
Sound Forge Audio Studio is a wholly different product, designed for simple recording but without the cleaning facilities that were present in Cleaning Lab. It is actually a cut-down version of Sound Forge Pro.
@Jorge-DeOliveira Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab is a feature limited version of Samplitude Pro Suite because it only includes the audio cleaning features and limited recording features. So, upgrading at BorisFX to the newest version of Samplitude Pro Suite would technically be an upgrade, but it's pretty expensive.
Music Cleaning lab is the program i use most for almost 20 years. . It is fast and has options many programs don't have. Yes i use the Magix & Sound Forge DAW and Music Maker and even Presonus Studio One ...now Fender Studio. They load all kind of things i don't need and workflow is not as easy .
24 bit 48 kHz is enough for all my projects projects and Audio Cleaning Lab even loads 32 bit float.
I dont use it for cleaning, nowadays most recordings are OK but ...yes it still is possible and it also has the nice iZotope element versions.
For editing live recordings: cutting all talk etc. and only have music and applause. Cleaning Lab is the only program where you can normalise parts individual.
The work flow of automatic fitting all audio close to each other after cutting a part away is very fast.
The way of putting markers is very easy and it has an easy ID editor . The CD list also is nice for You Tube. Easy to make a stereo file into 2 mono. Easy to flip left and right of a stereo recording.
IU also often use the video audio functions; much easier than loading a video in a complex video program and also easier and more functional than Vegas Pro.
