With MAGIX abandoning Sound Forge

Can you say where you found this information? As far as I am aware, this has not been publicly, or privately, stated anywhere.

I went to the website to see if there were any updates and couldn't find any sign of Sound Forge so I came here and a couple of people had commented that it was dropped. I cannot recall any specific person or even thread

@Jimrin After Magix acquired Vegas, Sound Forge and Acid from Sony, it originally wasn't planned to update Sound Forge or Acid anymore, but they decided otherwise. Over the last couple of years, Sound Forge and Acid were maintained by the Samplitude team. But this team switched over to Boris FX in 2025. At the moment, the Vegas team seems to be responsible for Sound Forge and Acid but I don't think they have time to handle it besides Vegas.
