Sudden Over Exposure

While editing/color grading in Vegas Pro 21, I copy and pasted a setting and for whatever reason, I got an over exposed video track. there are no duplicate tracks. All of the settings in the "clean" and over exposed clips are identical. How can I fix this besides deleting the video and dragging in a new one - the easy fix but I want to know how and why this happed. See attachment. Thank you.

You should be able to log in with your account details fused to register VP 21.
