The Gap.
Both my video cameras creates Mp4 files 1.90GB in size when continuously
recording, so when placing two clips in order, there is a gap between the two
clips that when rendered is noticeable in the finished product. I can't get the
clips to touch because the first clip doesn't end right at the frame marker and
the second clip can only be placed a frame marker. (see attached picture).
I've tried creating a project in 60fps and importing the video clip recorded at 30fps,
thinking doubling the frame rate of the project would make the gap smaller and
less noticeable but it appears this isn't the case because regardless of how many
frames per second, Magix can't edit between 1/10 of a second instead of editing
frames. As you can see in the picture, the first video clip doesn't end all the
way through the last 10th of a second. My question is how can I work around this
problem? is there a way to edit frames instead of seconds. Would Video Pro X7 be
able to handle this problem?
Here is the response I got from Magix Support.
"Thank you for your message.
The files should be automatically joined on import. If this is not occuring then currently there is not a lot we can do, it is something we are already working on.
I can only recommend to join the files in Handbrake outside of the software:
