The program Magix Video de luxe 2026 will not start

I bought Magix Video de Luxe 2026 yesterday. I downloaded it and activated the program with the code I received. The program worked fine right away, but then suddenly what was on the right side of the screen disappeared. I closed the program and restarted it. Then the blue box appeared, with the name of the program, and in the background was the image from the program, without anything on the right side. There it was just black. The whole image just stayed there without anything else happening. It was completely frozen. I closed the program with the Task Manager in Windows and restarted the PC. The same thing happened. I uninstalled the program and everything else from Magix. Removed all directories and reinstalled. The same thing happened. I have tried several times.
I have a program from you that cannot be used. Either I get a refund for what I paid for the program or you have to help me fix this.

Hi,

Honestly, I don't understand how people can think that a community of users would need to know your order number and serial number. In addition, you posted your email address. Remove them immediately before someone steals your program.

This is a public forum, not Magix Support, never post confidential such as I have removed, that is the quickest way to lose control of your product.

The software appears to be freezing at the creation of the media pool.

Are you using One Drive with your Documents folder syncing/uploading to the cloud?

If so this is known to cause issues and is not recommended.

Ensure that One Drive is not your default Documents location, this should be a local Documents folder on the computer.

How you do this will depend on whether you are logging in to the PC using a Microsoft account or a local account.

Once you have the documents on a With VDL 2026 closed, browse to the folder,

C:\Users\Your User name\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxe32_edition

and delete the videodeluxe.ini file.

Start VDL 2026, it should now pickup the local Documents folder.

If you are not using One Drive, then delete the videodeluxe.ini file and start VDL 2026.

If this fails then we need more information.

The specification of your computer system including Windows version and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and If you are working with an external USB drive.
