Unable to Install Magix Video Premium 2026 on Windows 11

Joseph-Hensley wrote on 11/19/2025, 11:01 AM

I have followed other instructions regarding disabling Firewall and Anti-Virus (no additional programs outside of Microsoft Windows installed/running). The installer continues to fail with or without Admin authorization, from both the default download and the trial download. Computer has been restarted, ensured no other apps were running and still installation would fail.
If there is no solution, I would like to explore a refund (purchase made today 11/19/2025). Thanks.

@Joseph-Hensley

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, it would seem from your screenshot that you are attempting to run 2 Video Deluxe installations at the same time, 1 for the Trial version and 1 for the non-Trial version. Is that the case? If it is, that is not a good idea! So, if they are still running stop them both (you may need to use Task Manager>End Task for each of them to accomplish this). You can see from the file names, by the way, that both are the same. The "difference" between them lies only in the fact of whether, when installed and first run, you are able to enter a Serial Key (to register and activate the full version) because you have already purchased the app, or whether you have to enter a Trial Key, which you need to apply for from within the program.

Once you have successfully stopped both installers restart your computer: "Shut Down or Sign Out>Restart".

Then retry the installer for the Full version (since you have already paid for the app). If it fails again we need to know a lot more about your computer, its software (e.g. exactly which version of Win 11 you have) and its hardware (hard drives, RAM, CPU, GPU etc.) This post will show you the level of detail that is really helpful for other users who may wish to assist you to know.

As Ray has written, all posters here are fellow-users, not Magix staff so please help us to help you!
