I want to create a Surround 5.1 audio track(s) on my video, and I am having issues getting it to work. Are there any clear and concise directions printed anywhere that explains this?

When I use the Pan tool I cannot get audio to route to my Center, Rear and Subwoofer speakers.

When I play a encoded test audio sample through VLC, it works just fine. So I am having trouble creating them. Does Vegas Pro 22 include the necessary encoders? If so, how do I use them.
