Vegas Pro 23 missing Mainconcept MPEG for render

JOHN-RAPPL wrote on 5/14/2026, 9:18 PM

I've been using Sony Movie Studio and Vegas Pro for years. I upgraded to Vegas Pro 23 a while ago but have not needed to make DVDs since the upgrade. I do have a need to make a DVD now. I tried to render my project to Mpeg-2 and the Sony and MainConcept encoders are not in the list. I searched in the Vegas 23 help and it says I need the MainConcept Plug-in. I've never needed to add that before. Where do I get it and how do I install it in Vegas Pro 23?
