Video not rendering as MP4

In rendering I choose MAGIC AVC/AAC MPR. In Templates I choose Internet HD 1080p 59.94 fps. I render the video but the completed video is not MP4 its .veg file, which cannot be uploaded to youtube. How can this be corrected?

Hi Andrew.

These settings.

However you have stated it produces a Veg file which is a file from a Vegas product and this is the wrong website for Vegas products.
