What is the version number as found under Help, About?
. . . . Hardware setup: wich information do you need? . . . .
See this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with if this is a laptop.
I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.
What is the video format, resolution, and encoding ? Download and install MediaInfo and analyse one of the clips and post the results, see this tutorial on how to setup MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required.
The amount of free space on the hard drive(s) you have.
A screenshot of the Program settings, Device options tab would also help.
Screenshots of the settings wouldnt really help since I have the language in Dutch and cant change it until I install the progam again. Tell me if you still want them. This is the info I found:
Version number: 16.0.4.124 (UDP3)
Graphics: ATI AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT
Intel processor: 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12400F
Hard disk space total: 931
Available space : 152

In addition to @emmrecs diagnosis, these lines from the MediaInfo data:
Width : 3 840 pixels
Height : 2 160 pixels
Bit depth : 10 bits
ie the video is 4K UHD HDR adds to the difficulty of VDL 2017 being able to handle the video.
Assuming the video is not recorded with a Log or Cine-D colour profile then conversion will be straight forward, I would suggest just changing the codec h.264 (AVC) which VDL 2017 should handle better than HEVC.
If the video is recorded with a Log or Cine-D colour profile, conversion may result in a slight loss of contrast, however the colour correction, using the appropriate LUT still works OK - tested with my own DJI 4K UHD 10 bit Cine-D profile video.
Thank you so much! It's not stuttering anymore, I changed the files into H.264. Now i want to know how i export videos in 3840 x 2160... I think i need to update VDL because the option isn't there. How can i do that?
Presumably you kept the file resolution to 3840x2160 (4K UHD)
. . . . I think i need to update VDL because the option isn't there . . . .
You may, VDL 2017 does support 4K UHD when exporting, however only for the HEVC (h.265) encoding format.
If you require any other 4K UHD format such as h.264/AVC or AV1 then you do need to upgrade.
Because you already own a Magix video editor you should be able to get the latest version for the Upgrade price, select this at the start of the purchase process selecting the Upgrade option as shown below for the edition you require.
You will be asked later in the purchase process to login with the email address and password you registered MEP 2017 with, you can then complete the purchase.
You should receive a confirmation email with serial numbers for the program, voucher codes for add ons included with the edition you purchase, and a link to the installer(s).
Check your spam folders if you do not get the email, they sometimes end up there.
