Video Preview

I am trying to import a recording from my mini DV JVC GR-DX95EK using firewire. Using Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus.
The preview window although ticked is not visible and it is recording nothing. It has worked perfectly well previously using same setup. What has gone wrong???

It seem as though the signal from your camera is not reaching your computer. Make sure camera is turnedon and in play position turn your computer on. This should fire up Movie Pro 14 into the record mode. Hope this works.
